A minha solidão - My loneliness

Constantemente me visitam.
Os meus fantasmas me visitam e, bêbados do meu vinho, me
Lhes abrir a porta eles resmungam, murmuram incessantemente

Pensamento.
Incessantes pensamentos deitam ao meu lado, me enlaça

My loneliness

In my loneliness I'm never alone, the ghosts of my past
Always comes to stay with me. The ghost of my past
Visit me and drinks my wine and tell me stories that
I thought I have lost in time but time has not forgotten
It. When I refuse to open my door to my ghosts, it
Mumble, mourn repeatedly in my conscious and
My conscious, desperate, cries, beg me to let them in.
I need to review my past when it complains its right to
Express it selves. I live in a false peace that takes its toll
To leave me in peace, it is a peace that I don’t have.

Loneliness is all I that have after so many loves. It's my
Life following its destination without allowing me to
Join its life. Loneliness is what destiny understood that I
Deserve, it is my portion in what I call time. In my
Loneliness I never stay alone, the silence is always with
Me trying to steal my peace, always dictating my
Thoughts and, when I go to sleep trying to forget my
Agony, the silence lay down beside me and hold me in
His cold arms and desperation takes over me.

In my solitude I'm never alone; it is not given to me
The right of have peace. There is always the presence
Of sadness when I am alone, there are the frustrations
And all the other ghosts who live in the corners of my
Mind. It is a long time love don’t comes to visit me, its
Turned out into homesickness, became part of a story that
I don’t have heard for some time, a story that has forgot
My address or, by mistake, knock at my door. In my
Solitude the silence shut my voice and does not allow
Me to draw the joy that has long abandoned me.

No meio do nada - In the middle of nothing

Mim.

In the middle of nothing

In the middle of nothing, I lost a thought that I wanted it to
Stay in me, a thought that tells me: - Go! No matter to
Where but go! You better go in search of what life offers
You without a promise. Go! Go! Search for what you think
Belongs to you, go! Try to find what you think you have
Lost, go! Do what has not happened in your life, happened
Now. Go! Search for what you have lost in the middle of
Nowhere, what was nothing, which meant nothing to you
Until you have lost it.

I am in the middle of nothing trying to find what I have not
Lost, what does not concern me, something that do not add
Anything in me, in my life, but that I miss it, it is
Something that leaves an emptiness in my day. I go around
As a insane, walking from one side to the other in search of
A faces that I don’t  know how it look like. I'm alone, I call
For someone who does not reply me, and I hear voices
Saying that loves me but no one comes to stay with me.

The place where I am is a vast emptiness, full of false
Feelings. Sometimes I feel that I am not alone, however,
When I call nobody answers me. I know that I am loved
But when I want to make love there's no one to make love
With me. The place where I live is a uncomfortable one, it
Is an endless anguish, it is where I lost a thought that
Wanted to stay with me.

Frustrações o dia do nosso reencontro parece

Comigo.
No princípio não entendi bem a tua escolha e não
Aceitei a tua partida.
Me entregaste aos cuidados do nosso bondoso
Deus.
Mãe!
Ainda hoje quando a velhice já me abraça, sinto
Alma.

Mother

Mother! I got to know you without get to know your
Thoughts and you lived me when I did not live you.
Mother! You left my life when I was still too young to
Understand the meaning of "death." Mother! When you
Left me I search at all emptiness that you left in my life,
I asked for you all over and people told me that you had
Gone to live with God. Mother, in the innocence of a
Four years old child I wondered: - Why would you have
Preferred to live with God steady to live with me?
It took me a long time mom for me really to understand
Why you have gone.

Mother! I know that we'll meet again some time in the
Future but in times of anguish, on cold nights and in
Moments of frustrations its seems to me that the day of
Our reunion is still so far away, some time its makes me
Think that the day that I will never come. Mother! How is
It to live life where you live? How are your days there?
Mom, do you still think of me? I use to talk to God about
You, I always ask Him to keep you at His presence.
Mother! I love you so much and I still need you.

Mother! I actually I think that you made the best choice
By choose to live with God steady to live with me.
You know mom! At the first moment I did not understand
Your choice and I did not accept it much. I suffered a lot
Till get to understand that you left me at the care of our
Gracious God. Mother! Even today when old age has hold
Me, I miss your affection, I miss your hugs and kisses.
Mother! I am sure that you are living in the house of God,
And I know that one day we will meet again and it is this
Certainty of our meeting that brings me happiness, that
Wraps up my soul.

Perderam no tempo?

Me chamar e o teus lábios se recusarem a pronunciar o
Meu nome?

Te permitir me esquecer?

Assumptions

How about when I cross the street and all the doors be closed
Behind me? How about I look back and no longer see the day
That lost in time? How about if I feel like want to return to
Review you find out that you breathe, you deleted, that you
Destroyed the path that would bring me back to this life?
How about if I get the other side of the street and do not like
The new address? How about if you need me when I am no
Longer here?

How about if when you pass by me your heart feel like
Calling me and your lips refuse to speak my name? How
About if the pain and the void of my absence is stronger
Than the disdain that you have for me? How about if the
Tears, perchance, roll from your eyes refuse to allow to be
Dried by other if not by myself, my presence? How about if
Only after I cross the street you realize that you love me?

How about if you belatedly realized that the street we walk in
Induced us to believe that it is so long that we not soon will
Arrive at its end, in order to force us become arrogant? How
About if you do not realize that this street under your feet
Swallow you little by little each day, before it swallows you
At once? How about if - "Suddenly" - so suddenly, that same
Road devour me without give us time to look at each other for
The last time? How about if after I have left, your conscience
Does not allow you to forget me?

Te minto - I lie to you

Experimentar a tua decepção e, me decepciono

Me verem e então te minto.

I lie

I deceive you, I lie. I say I love you when I do not like you.
I lie to you, I deceive you. I lie to you for the pleasure of to
See you believing in my lie. I lie to you, I lie for do not
Allow you to believe in my truths. I lie; deceive you just to
Feel the taste of your anger for me. I lie to you, I deceive
You just to know how far you would be able to go for
Believing in my lies. I lie; I say that I love you when I do
Not want you in my bed. I lie to you, I deceive you.

I tell you lie disguised as truths to confuse you. I tell you
Lies disguised as truths to try your disappointment, and I
Get disappointed to find out that after all my lies you still
Believe in me. I lie to you; I deceive you and you still
Stand by my side. I lie to you, I lie even on the lies that I
Tell you just to try your anger, but it seem that you never
Get angry. I lie; I to deceive you for do not love you, for
Do not be loved by you.

After so much lie to you, I feel bad to look in your face
and see that your eyes still shine with happiness when
You see by your side. I like to you with the intention of
Convincing your eyes that they should not be happy to
See me. I lie to you, I deceive you, with my lies and
Truths I try to confuse you, to confuse your feelings.
I lie to you with no reason to lie, I deceive you and still
Your eyes are happy to see me, I lie to you.

Da janela do tempo - From the window´s time

Sei onde fica.

Assim, sou engolido, consumido, viro lama, pó.

Minha volta.
O tempo muda tudo, inclusive a vida, a direção do
Nosso pensamento.
Observando o tempo passar sinto medo, sinto medo
Quando o vejo mudando as estações, quando o
Sinto me mudando, mudando as as pessoas e as
Daqui.

My window

From the window I watch the leaves changing colors, falling, going
Somewhere I don’t know. From the window I see time passing by,
Making my skin flabby and weakening my body, bringing me down
Just like it does with everything around it. I open the window, want
To hold the wind that, being stronger than me, drags me, takes me
To a place lost in time and from which I will never come back.

The rain brought by time falls and hauls everything that time
Throws on the ground. The thirsty land drinks, swallows what the
Water washes away and then I’m swallowed, consumed, I become
Mud, dust. Time takes me away, I go knowing I will not come back.
It’s time passing by, bringing all to oblivion that awaits with arms
Wide open, for everything and everyone. Time drops us in the mouth
Of forgetfulness that swallows us, swallows everyone, all because
Its stomach is endless and its hunger insatiable.

From my window I watch time changing everything around me.
It changes life, wind direction, sunshine and the cycle
Of the moon. Time changes everyone, changes our way of loving,
Our  way of crying, changes our body and our thoughts.
Watching time pass, I feel scared, feel scared when I see,
When I feel time changing me, changing my way of thinking and
My way of loving while it prepares to take me away.

Bêbado - Drunk

                                                                                       Foto: C. Silva

Bêbado não percebo o vento me levando e o tempo me

esquecimento e lá encontro a minha paz.

Bêbado a chuva me limpa, sem no entanto limpar a minha alma.
Bêbado tropeço em minha embriaguez e caio, caio fico
estendido no chão esquecido, não estou naquele corpo, fui
embora, não sou eu.
Bêbado, nunca caí.

Drunk

Drunk, I stumble in my drunkenness and fall far from
Reality that flail me. Drunk I do not hear my conscience
Screaming at my ear, charging me, calling me something
That I don’t want to give. Drunk I did not realize you
Knocking on my door to ask me what I do not owe you,
What I never promised you. Drunk I do not realize the
Wind taking me away and time making me to grow older
Shouting to me to leave life.

Drunk I do not feel the pain of the stones throw on me,
I do not hear the growling of the dogs trying to bite me
And I do not realize the tears of the suffering dripping
From my eyes. Drunk I do not remember the last time
That I was loved, the last time that I made love, the last
Time that I was despised and the last time that I cried
For someone. Drunk I stumble in my drunken and fall
The deeper oblivion and there I find my peace.

Drunk I cross the street without fear of being run over by
Time that fast, do not stops at nothing. Drunk I do not
Fear the wind that blows hard and drags everything to far
Away, to the forgetfulness. Drunk I am forgotten and  the
Frostiness who lives in me is not washed by the rain that
Wets my body. Drunk the rain clean me without, however,
To clear my soul. Drunk I stumble in my drunken, I fall
And stay there forgotten lying in the floor, I'm not in that
Body, I went away, it is not me. Drunk! Never fell.

Gosto amargo - Bitter taste

Bebo!
Bebo para esquecer o gosto amargo do esquecimento,
Bebo.

Bebo, bebi e me embriaguei, embriaguei o meu

Quer me esquecer, só bebo a minha dor.
 Bebo!

Bitter taste

I do drink! I drink to forget the bitter taste of oblivion,
I do drink. I drink the forgetfulness which was put in
My mouth, I drink. I do drink the thought of those
Who think that they will forget me, I drink! And I
Drink their frustrations when they realize that in their
Forgetfulness they still remember me.

I do drink! By drinking I am already bosky at nightfall
And I do wakeup still drunk. I drink. I do drink! I drink
All night long the forgetfulness of those who would
Love to forget me and do go to the street together with
The first rays of the sun to every one to see that I drank
Non-stop for the night. I go out to everybody to see that
I drank all the oversights that were put on my glass.
I drink, I got drunk, and I got my heart drunk with pain
Which disdain has to offer to those who are forgotten.

I do drink! I drink not with the intention of to be
Perceived, by those want to forget me. I do drink! But I
Drink only for do not waist, not to throw away what is
Offered to me. I do drink! I drink the tears of those who
Do not know, do not want to live with me, I do drink the
Frustrations of those who can not accept me as a winner,
I do drink the sorrow of those who would like to be with
Me but can not, and I do drink the bitter taste of be
Unable of be forget by those who want to forget me.

O “daqui a pouco”.
