A minha vida - My life

Então, me assusto.

Da sua existencial me ferirem, me afugentarem,
Vida a qual pretendo viver.

Vida, a minha vida.
Sentado, observando a vida, percebo a
É a minha vida!

My life

I cross the street and from the other side, in the middle of
A thought, I see everything I’m living at this moment.
The street remains there, in front of my eyes, and narrows
Down according with what I think. In a vague thought,
I cross the street again without, however, leaving the place
Where I stand now. Right there on the other side of the
Street, I can see the  – “everything” -, I can see the moment
That I’m living now from an angle different of the one
I’ve been looking from till now.

The street pass by in front of my eyes, it seems to be my
Life waiting to be lived, to be lived by somebody else
Not me. Life opens itself, smiles and asks to be known
But when I step on it I feel the thorns penetrate me and
It hurt me badly, it frighten me and take me off course.
This road should not be my life, It is not the life I want to
Live, it is not be the road I would choose to walk on,
It is not the life I would choose to live.

I return to the side of the street where everything started,
And then I realize my iniquity with life, my life. Sitting,
Watching life, I realize how misunderstanding I has been
With life, life that goes on in front of me, anxious to be
Lived. It’s my life! The life that has been given to me,
The life I have to live with, the life that I have to live as
It, life that I am not suppose to change it into what I want
It to be. It is my life. The life I have, the life I earned to
Come to this world.

O “daqui a pouco”.
