Eu em Kieve - Ucrania - 2007 - It is me in kiev-Ukraine - 2007

Não me decepcione - Enttäusch mich nicht

Me ouvir.

Conviver comigo.
Não me chames, não me olhes, siga a tua estrada sem me pedir
Pensastes em me amar.

Não me peças para enxugar as tuas lágrimas, não me chames
Não me chames, esqueça o meu nome, perca o meu caminho,
Mude o teu rumo para nunca me encontrar.
Não!
Não me encontre, não me conheças, me esqueça, permita-me te
Esquecer.

Nein! Rufe mich nicht, vergiss meinen Name, verliere mein
Weg, verändere dein Bahn, mich nie zu finden. Nein!
Finde mich nicht, kenne mich nicht, vergiss mich, lass mich dich
Vergessen. Nein! Trocke meine Träne nicht, küsse mein Gesicht nicht
Mit deinen Küssen. Küsse die sind nicht meine, tröste mich
Nicht.

Pensei - I thought

Penso!
Não me libertei.

Paro.

Paro!
Como bêbado dou passos trôpegos e me deixo cair.
Caído ali no meio do asfalto, cheiro o pó do chão e
Me perdendo.
Levar e, ao te ver, me descubro voltando.

I thought

I think! I think to continue, but I don’t get to cross the street
That lies in front of my eyes and retreat. I kick! To retreat
Means to me to return to the past from where I fled, to
Retreat means to lose, to get back to slavery from which I
Have not freed myself yet. To kick is like do not give me the
Chance to know freedom, it is like do not try things that wait
Me across the street that I see in front of me, to kick is to die
Before knowing the life but even knowing it all, with fear of
The new, I did kick.

I stop; I take a look on the street that pass, which runs in front
Of my eyes and I see you seated there on the other side inviting
Me to know you, to follow you, to smile your smile and to try
Your kisses again. I stop and think: where would your hugs
Take me? How would it be, to sleep in your lap? I go ahead
And think about what would your lips do to my lips when my
Lips already addicted to your lips, look for it. I stop, I take a
Look at the street that passed in front of my eyes and I see you
Passing by with a cheeky smile on your lips.

I stop! Like a drunk with stumble steps I let myself fall. Lying
On the asphalt, smelling the dust I give up, I decide do not
Cross the street on which I am missing me. Lost, I think, where
This road would lead me and I find out, when I see you coming
Back, that I don’t know you and you have already forget me.
I stop! I think and I kick, I think that it no longer interests me to
Cross the street to get to know the new that is on the other side
Of it, the slavery is over and, as such, I have not to fears it.
I think! I retreat before start to cross the street which runs in
Front of my eyes and, with a smile on my face, I think:
I escaped, finally I freed myself.

A valsa do envelhecimento - The waltz of aging

Consigo.
O tempo enlaça o meu corpo, puxa a minha pele

Nome.
O tempo berra.
Numa falsa calma o vento sopra gelado, me causa
Arrepio.
Tempo.

O tempo, impaciente com a minha displicência, me
Insolentemente, danço a valsa do envelhecimento
Enquanto me penso jovem.

The waltz of aging

The time calls my attention but, carelessly, ignore his gaze,
I do not notice his affliction
The time get lost in a space that I call time, without
I notice that when time get lost he takes me with him.
The time embraces my body, pull my skin making it
Flaccid, causing it to wrinkle
The time grabs in my hair and painting in white color the
ones he does not get to take with him, the time deletes
The memories that I wanted to save with me.

The time gets mad with my indifference and push me, he
Screams in my ear
My lazy ear refuses to hear the time that, angry with my
indifference, screams my name, he screams, pulls me by
The arm like the fury of the wind in the midst of a
Tempest. In a false calm, the wind blows cold causing me
Shiver while, without I notice it, he pushes everything to
The - "away" - and so you pass, I pass, everything pass
And the time as well, when then the old age, which dies
Early, arrives to us all.

The time impatient with my carelessness, takes me in his
Arms and brings me to where I refuse to go.
He take me to a party to which I do not want to go.
The wind blows the flute that time brings in his hands
And touches the farewell waltz, the waltz of  goodbye
Which, involuntarily, I dance.
I dance the waltz of aging when I think I am still young
And my body did not realize that time has passed and
Made it grew old.

Nossa estória - Our story

Revejo, releio o livro da nossa estória tentando encontrar o
Parágrafo onde te perdi e sem encontra-lo me perco.
Te beijo, te abraço,
Te deito em meus braços e em minha imaginação faço
Amor contigo.

Ainda tinha o teu amor.
Revendo a nossa estória descubro o quanto fui estúpido

Reconquistarei o teu amor.

Our story

I look back, I read the book of our story, trying to find the
paragraph where I lost you and not finding it I get lost.
I kiss you, I hug you; I take you in my arms and, in my
Imagination, I make love with you. I turn and roll the
Book’s pages that tells our story and I do not understand
How we got to this end that I have in front of my eyes.
I re-read once again this page and I don’t understand how I
Let our story, which was so beautiful, to end up as it ended.

Rereading the book of our story, I realize that I left you
When I still had your love. I realize that I allowed facts
Bring us apart when you were at the height of your passion
For me, when you most wanted to be loved and have your
Feeling  recognized by me. Reviewing our story I discover
How stupid I've been, doing you leave me, how foolish
I was to sacrifice our love in the name of the love, and how
I failed to notice that my life would have no means without
Your love.

I re-read our story and go back in time with the hope to find
You there. I go back in time because I want to tell you that I
Still love you; that I need to find a way to convince you that
It's worth to forgive me that I deserve your forgiveness.
Rereading our story I have the illusion that I will regain your
Love, I have the illusion that we can resume our story from
Where it stopped. I'm back to our past with the hope of to
Reencounter you still in love with me.

Viagens loucas - Insane travels

Foto de A. Helena

Os meus pensamentos voam, eles vão longe, distante,
Onde outros pensamentos que pensei se perderam.
Meus pensamentos correm, vão em busca de
Pensamentos outrora pensados e perdidos no
Esquecimentos.
Os meus pensamentos me levam, me obrigam a

Abusam, me torturam, não me permitido esquecer

Neste abraço, me levam a lugares onde fui e voltei
Lamento!
Esquecer.

Insane travels

My thoughts fly, it go, it goes to far away where other
Thoughts that I thought got lost. My thoughts run, it
Goes in search of thoughts that was thought in the past
And got lost in oblivion. The thoughts leads me, It
Obliged me to follow them on their insane journeys
Without bother with my protests asking them to leave
Me in peace.

Anguished of so many thoughts I cry. I cry but my
Tears do not move the thoughts that invade my mind
Stealing Its peace. The thoughts force me to think
About things that I would love to forget, they revived
Memories that I have already buried in oblivion, it
Revive suffering that I experienced, torment that I
Lived and threw out. It is my thoughts abusing,
Torturing me, not allowing me to forget what I
Thought I had already forgotten.

My smile, scared, hides itself when perceive the
Thoughts approaching to me. Thoughts embrace me
And in this embraces, take me to places where I was
And returned vowing never to come back there,
Vowing never live this experience again. My thoughts
Love wake me up at night to talk and talking it takes
Me in its endless travels whose fate is always
Suffering which lives in my past, the past that I want
To forget.

O vento é o tempo - The wind is the time

                                                                           Foto: C. de Paula

O vento empurra violentamente o tempo contra a minha pessoa

E leva-a consigo para distante, onde me envelhece.
O vento sopra, o tempo passa e leva o que sou, ele leva a
Minha  alegria, o meu sorriso e deixa comigo apenas as
Recordações e as rugas.
O vento é o tempo que leva o que tenho e deixa apenas a
Saudade.

The wind is the time

The wind pushes the time violently against me and the
Time, in its turn, enraged, attacks me. The wind dries
My skin up causing it to wrinkle, pull out my hair and
If it refuse to come out of my skin, the time paint it
Into white color. The wind blows violently my face
Irritating my eyes, making it involuntarily to tear and
Preventing me of to see the he taking everything that I
Have to live. Desperately I run after the wind prevent
It from stealing my time, the little time that I have left
To live.

The wind blows, pushes time away from me. The wind
Takes the time to a distance where, it seems to be in a
Hurry to take me with him and get mad if I refuse to
Follow him. The wind blows and hit the window that I
Hold believing it to be the window of my life, believing
It is the window through which I see life going on as
Life escapes me without I live it. On winter nights, the
Wind blows cold on my roof and sings his whining
Songs and invites me to dance it. The wind sings, he
Drags me into his dance and when my legs, already
Weak, can no longer sustain me, the wind throw me on
The ground.

The wind blows furiously makes the time runs. The time
Without have anything to hold on it, grabs me and drags
Me along with whatever he finds on his path, including
My life. Dragged by the wind, the time clings in my
Youth and takes it along to faraway, where I will get older.
The wind blows the time, and the time passes and take
What I am, it takes my joy, my smile and leaves me only
Memories and wrinkles. Time is the wind that takes what
I have, leaving only the nostalgia with me.

O meu sorriso - My smile

Meus lábios achando poder enganar-me, querendo
Fazer-me parecer feliz vivendo sem ti.

Juntos, uma tristeza profunda me envolve e então o meu

O meu sorriso, sujeito displicente e pouco decente, finge

My smile

My grim smile, visits my face with a dodger laugh, thinking
That in my agony, I do not notice it. The smile wonders on
My face, casually stroll through my lips thinking to deceive
Me, wanting to make me look happy, living without you.
My smile thinks that he can hide the tears that your absence
Brings forth from my heart.

My sheepish grin express happiness that long has abandoned
Me, which has already forgotten what funny means. When I
Go to places where we used to visit together, a deep sadness
Surrounds me and then my grim smile hide itself and allow
The tears, which the longing that I feel about you makes me
Cry, roll freely.

My smile, casual and somewhat decent guy, pretends not to
Know the pain of a lost love. Yesterday, walking in my
Mind he diligent, even though of my dry mouth, bitter, with
An  urge to drink from your mouth, insisted on stay smiling.
My smile walks in my lips thinking he can make it appear
That there is happiness in my heart.

A madrugada - Dawn

                                                      Foto: S. Trindade

A madrugada, ainda sonolenta, me olha de soslaio e curiosa,
Vasculha a minha mente tentando descobri onde perdi o
Companhia.

Somos namorados, estamos namorando, eu e a lua.

Dawn

Dawn comes softly; she comes to remind me that night is over.
In the middle of the night the sleep abandon me and, unable
To sleep again, I got lost in endless thought and I did not
Realize the day dawning. The dawn, sarcastic, looks at me
With a mischievous smile on her lips and questions if I intend
To invite her to lie with me. Embarrassed I try to smile of
What I think to be a joke of the lady dawn.

The dawn, still sleepy, look at me and curious searches my
Mind trying to figure out where I lost my sleep, and if I lost it
In the nothing. As soon as the dawn leaves the sun rises and the
Morning comes. The early morning scared the insomnia that
Leaves me, but not before telling me that at night she will be
Back to keep me company.

Late afternoon the sun say goodbye to me, wishing me a good
Night. The night is cool; the wind blows soft as a promise of
Peace, the moon shines in the sky inviting me to a walk, which
I accept and I go. We are lovers; we are dating, me and the
Moon. At this moment I don’t think about anything if not to be
Happy. It is time to go home where my loneliness is waiting
Me, it awakes me and despair me, it just blows away my sleep
That gets back only when it is dawning.

Os teus olhos - Your eye

A chuva cai dos teus olhos, lava o teu rosto e desbota o teu
Sorriso.
As tuas lágrimas me molham, molham o meu sorriso que

Chover, perde o colorido, perde o belo.
Chegar.
O meu sorriso, dependente do teu sorriso, chora a tristeza
Que tomou conta dos teu lindos olhos.

Your eye

The rain falls from your eyes, wash your face and fades your
Smile. The, embarrassed, tears that escapes from your eyes
Confused with the rain that water, soaks the path that I walk
And confuses me. Your tears wets me, water my smile that
Scared with your grief, flees from my lips, hide from your
Eyes and keep itself where I can not find it. The rain falls
From your eyes and floods all the feelings, suffocates it and
Screams as sadness like to scream.

The rain falls from your eyes takes along with it all that could
Be joy, it takes everything that could make me happy.
The wind blows and carries to far away your look. The wind
Blows and dries your lips, it dry out the hope that I have to be
Happy by your side. The rain falls from your eyes and kill by
Sadness the flowers that adorn your paths and scared the smile
That lives in your lips.

Your smile wet by the rain that fall from your eyes, lose color,
It loses the beautiful. My smile, ill by the sadness of your
Smile, no long smile, it do not know how to be happy. The
Rain that falls from your eyes wash, it takes away the joy
That I have in me and scare it to a place where I can not go.
My smile, dependent upon your smile, cry the sadness that
Took over your beautiful eyes.

O “daqui a pouco”.
