Minha infância - My childhood

Rua, me escondia enquanto a lua, cúmplice das minhas
Brincadeiras, me procurava.
Enquanto me escondía da lua, observáva as estrelas cadentes

My childhood

Back in my childhood, almost forgotten in time, I do remember
The beautiful moon’s nights and the sky full of stars. There were
No light on the streets, electricity in that town did not existed,
And we were very happy. We were happy! In my childhood we
Use to wait for the night with anxiety, at that time there have no
Fears, no terrors and we use to go outside to play.

In my childhood I liked to go out at night to play on the street,
I use to hid myself from the moon, the moon that was my
Accomplices in my games and playing, the moon look for me.
As I hid from her, I watched the shooting stars falling from
The sky as if it comes to play with me. Back in my childhood,
Already almost forgotten in time, I enjoyed going out at night to
Play on the street.

In my childhood, in a village lost in the distance, the moon shone
In a dazzling smile enchanted by the beauty of the stars.
The moon shone filling with light the stage where the insects and
The animals of the forest performed a concert in a show prepared
Just for us, people from that place.

It in my childhood, in a village forgotten in time, and which
I miss so much; I use to go out at night for to play on the street.
There in my street have a girl named Bárbara, who never noticed
Me but, I kept her as my special one. I miss, I miss the moon so
Much, I miss the stars and I miss my street too. I miss so many
Wonderful memories of my childhood, when the moon did not get
Tired of to play with me.

O “daqui a pouco”.
