A velhice - Old

Morto o meu
Corpo encontra o repouso que a vida lhe negou,
Morto ele abraça a paz com a qual tanto sonhou.
Maduro o meu corpo cai! Cai seco, murchos
Como as folhas ressequidas, abandonadas,
Dispensadas pelo tempo.

Velha a vida sofre a desventura de viver a
Experiência de deixar de ser vida. Ela vive o
Mais! Espere-me! Enquanto admira os últimos
Raios do sol repousar sobre os montes. Enquanto
Os pássaros cantam nas galhas secas das
Árvores o resto de vida.

A vida me envelhece, enruga-me e ao perceber
Abandona-o. A vida cai!
Ocaso. A vida enterra o que resta do meu corpo
Quando este, velho, não consegue mais
Carrega-la.

A velhice, velha, é a linha de chegada do destino.
A velhice é o ponto máximo onde o destino me
Permite chegar.
A velhice é

Velho, sinto a
Velhice espremendo o meu corpo fazendo-o doer.
A velhice, hoje, nega-me os prazeres que outrora
Me faziam feliz.
Caminhar e morre.

Old

The old age hugs my body, which under the weight

Of the age, trips and falls, falls dead. Dead, my
Body finds the rest which life has denied to him.
Dead, my body embraces the peace with which has
Dreamed so much. Ripe, my body falls! It falls dry,
Shriveled as the withered leaves, abandoned,
Dispensed by time.

Old, life suffers the misfortune of to live the
Experience of to be abandoned by life. It lives the
Torment of to rethink what the joy means and cry:
It cry: don´t go away! Stay a little longer! Wait for
Me! While admire the last sun´s rays, rests on the
Top of the mountains. While birds sing in the tree´s
Dry galls the last drop of life.

The life get me older, wrinkles me and when it
Realize that my body is no longer able of to follow
Her, she abandons him. The life falls! Life falls as the
Dried petals of the flowers blown by the sunset´s
Wind. The life bury what's left from my body when
My body, old, can no longer carry it.

Old age, old, is the finish line of fate. The fate is the
Limits where life allow me to reach. The fate is the
Lucky of those who have the lucky of to get old.
The old age is logical, but she is illogical as well when
She gives us to death. The old age is the fate which
Promised me life when I did born. Life is the
Beginning of a life which many times I wished it has
Not end.

The old age mocks of my dreams, dreams that I left
To live in my old age. Now, old feel the age
Squeezing my body making him hurt. The old age,
Today denied me the joys that once made me happy.
The old age insists on forcing my body walk slowly,
When life is in a hurry and with no patience, life
Leaves my it in the middle of way and my body,
Alone, are not able to walk and then, dies.

O “daqui a pouco”.
